| Lyn Giesecke |
My name is Lyn Giesecke; I am Laura’s little sister. I live in the high desert mountains of southern California at Quail Springs, a permaculture education farm. My sweetheart, Justin Kirmse, our friend Brock Anderson, and I have a small non-profit school called Living Craft Project. We offer apprenticeships in natural building and the art of a handmade life. We work to equip people in sustainable livelihoods, honoring our essential human needs through craftsmanship. Several years ago now, Laura, Justin, and I spent a winter in my parents’ home, quietly helping me to heal from malignant melanoma and the surgeries that followed my diagnosis. In the midst of our fears and faith, Laura decided to begin Heiress Productions as a way to metabolize her experiences with cancer and delve into her passion for theater. I chose to pursue simple living, small farming, and healthy home building to rejuvenate our bodies, our spirits, and land. |

| Bo Ranney |
Bo Ranney is currently a law school student and a member of Actors’ Equity. He was a professional singer/actor/mover for a number of years. His acting career included gigs off-off-Broadway, on a national bus-and-truck tour, in regional theaters, on cruise ships from the Caribbean to Alaska, and in theme parks from Virginia to Tokyo, Japan. His training included tap classes with the talented Mary Willis White. The day before he started rehearsals in a boy band, The Busch Street Boys at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, he ended a four-year active duty stint as a Surface Warfare Officer with the U.S. Navy which took him onboard a large deck amphibious assault ship and then a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier for two separate deployments to the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf. Bo’s grandfather was diagnosed with cancer in the late 1960s and not given long to live. With aggressive chemotherapy, an amazingly strong constitution and a loving, supportive family, he lived almost 20 more years, long enough to see the Saturn V rocket he helped design get man to the moon, to help design the space shuttle cargo bay and see it launch repeatedly from the Kennedy Space Center, and to see three grandkids be born and grow old enough to become interesting conversation partners. Bo is happy to be a part of Heiress Productions’ endeavor to create entertaining, inspirational theatre and to fight cancer to help more people live rich, healthy, long lives like his granddad. |
